May 14th, 2010 by Ipad News Hunter | Filed under iPad-like Device.iPad success in the market seems to have taken an eye from other company to adapt the traits iPad have. One of the company that will produce an iPad style device is the telecommunication giant, BT, that planned to bring Appel iPad atmosphere into their touch screen landline phone. This landline phone with a touch screen concept was brought to give alternatives to landline users that might get a little swayed by the features and technologies a mobile phone have.
This BT touch interfaced landline phone still have no name and price announced, but they stated that this device will enter UK market next year. This BT touch screen phone prototype have been shown to several city analyst. The body is smaller than those of Apple iPad, but they still have bigger size than an iPod Touch.
BT’s denied that their soon to be produced touch screen phone were an answer to compete with US company’s product. Instead, they throw a concept that their new landline phone device were meant to act like a mini PC for use in kitchen or lounge that happen to have voicemail, email and text messaging feature.
The company has denied the tablet is BT’s answer to the US company’s product and has instead described it as a mini-PC designed for the kitchen or lounge with voicemail, emailing and text messaging. To make up for their mini-PC concept, this BT handset will enable “apps” to be installed like weather or news informing apps.
The landline touch screen phone will be sold on its own, but BT planned it to take some part in their internet and communication packages they offer. More information will be spilled later this year. Let’s wait for it, and I hope this can be a good device
