Partnering with Nouvoyance, Samsung will have their WQXGA display unveiled at the SID Display Week 2011 International Symposium. This 2560 x 1600 resolution Samsung display will have 300 pixels per inch density, a number that match Retina qualification as Steve Jobs stated last year.

This new Samsung display utilizes RGBW Pentile technology, and expected to be available in the market later this year. Dr. Sungtae Shin, a Senior VP from Samsung Electronics stated that this Samsung Pentile technology operates only need 60 percent power compared to the Full HD-view RGB LCD, but have a doubled performance. It can be said that no other display technology available at the market right now that can offer the same performance in terms and resolution and pixel density in 10.1 inch other than this new Samsung display.

Having this announced, a speculation rises whether Apple will implement this new 2560 x 1600 Samsung LCD in the next generation of iPad. This speculation is streghtened because iPad 3 are expected to doubled their screen resolution to 2048 x 1536, and this numbers are already exceeded by this new 10.1 inch Samsung Pentile display.

[ipad.gadgetzap.com] If you read the business news often, you might noticed that a few companies started to invest on iPad usage to increase their business effectiveness. Most people who agrees that iPad can boost their business performance usually emphasis on the internet connectivity and wireless capability of this Apple’s tablet. People on board meetings can also share their presentation easily and handle the impracticality of a paper based drafts that would create problems when we update it on the last minutes. The issue of “saving the trees” also came up to the reasoning of applying iPad to workers, well they do decrease the use of papers actually.

However, as convenient as it seems, a big company that involve security on their wireless data connectivity were still hesitated to use iPad in their business and work activity. Some even stand on their conservative views that secure data connection should be delivered by cable network instead of a wireless one. Well, at the moment, iPad may not be the “cure of all” connectivity problems in the working places, but who knows, in the future, many developers might be working on secure data connections on iPad seriously and made it possible for iPad to become the mainstream in business activity. That, if the other high tech gadget manufacturer haven’t made the product that would live up to these market expectation

[ipad.gadgetzap.com] You probably ever heard about iPad Wi-Fi problems that gives you poor wireless signal strength needed to make or maintain Wi-Fi network connectivity. At that time, this little iPad technical problems can be solved by adjusting the screen brightness of the iPad. As absurd as it seems, the solution work to troubleshoot this problems even though many user started to feel that their iPad is some reject product.

Thankfully, Apple really give much concern for this matter and released new iPad updates that fix this weak Wi-Fi signal issue. You can have your updates at iTunes store and welcome your improved Wi-Fi iPad along with several other fixes and Bing addition into the handheld. Most of iPad consumers seemed satisfied with this iPad version 3.2.1 updates, as it was expressed through Apple feedback results in their forums.

Microsoft’s Bing search engine now provides alternative choice to Google Search that remains in the iPad’s Safari browser. Other iPad fixes delivered by this ver. 3.2.1 update are the copy and paste PDF issue, improvement on the video playback freezing matter, and a more reliable VGA adapter for users who frequently connect their iPad to a TV or computer monitor.

Apple also reminds you to be sure that the iTunes in you’re iPad is already the latest version before you install you’re iPad updates through it. The latest iTunes available right now is iTunes 9. So please have a version check on it before, Ok

Email apps usage for iPad users really get them connected with their internet activities, may it be as unimportant Facebook notifier or as serious as emails from work. And for all that email related purpose, iPad users already have iPad’s Mail app that was very functional for personal usage. However, when your work needed you to share the email capabilities in your iPad to other users, a multi-user GMail client such as Mailboxes apps from Liliput Labs might become useful for you in making a secure alterntives. With Mailboxes iPad apps, you can quickly access your GMail or Google Apps account on a shared iPad while keeping your account information private in the same time. Version 1.2 updates on Mailboxes brings iPad users 2 new features, offline support and fast account switching.

Mailboxes email apps, released in June gives you the ability to manage multiple account credentials, utilizing iPad’s Keychain to store your account securely. When you run Mailboxes in your iPad, you’ll be prompted to enter your credentials along with an optional 4 digit passcode, and the apps will be loading your GMail interface in the manner optimized for iPad.

Previous version of Mailboxes users needed to be online when they use this iPad email apps, but the latest releases will caches your e-mail that enables you to read them offline, and it is really convenient when you’re going mobile and stumble into some places with zero internet connectivity. Other than this awesome offline reading features, the fast switching account capabilities significantly reduces the time needed by the apps to switch between your different GMail accounts.

iPad success in the market seems to have taken an eye from other company to adapt the traits iPad have. One of the company that will produce an iPad style device is the telecommunication giant, BT, that planned to bring Appel iPad atmosphere into their touch screen landline phone. This landline phone with a touch screen concept was brought to give alternatives to landline users that might get a little swayed by the features and technologies a mobile phone have.

This BT touch interfaced landline phone still have no name and price announced, but they stated that this device will enter UK market next year. This BT touch screen phone prototype have been shown to several city analyst. The body is smaller than those of Apple iPad, but they still have bigger size than an iPod Touch.

BT’s denied that their soon to be produced touch screen phone were an answer to compete with US company’s product. Instead, they throw a concept that their new landline phone device were meant to act like a mini PC for use in kitchen or lounge that happen to have voicemail, email and text messaging feature.

The company has denied the tablet is BT’s answer to the US company’s product and has instead described it as a mini-PC designed for the kitchen or lounge with voicemail, emailing and text messaging. To make up for their mini-PC concept, this BT handset will enable “apps” to be installed like weather or news informing apps.

The landline touch screen phone will be sold on its own, but BT planned it to take some part in their internet and communication packages they offer. More information will be spilled later this year. Let’s wait for it, and I hope this can be a good device

Some of my iPad owners friend are experiencing problems on WiFi connectivity of their iPad. iPad problems they frequently meet with their WiFi is rejoin connection failure to a known WiFi network when their iPad waking up from sleep. Some iPad also have weak to complete disconnection while other WiFi enabled device have no network problems.

This is a little disturbing for iPad users since WiFi connectivity is one of the features that made iPad their internet browsing favorite gadget. But Apple have made this WiFi problems revealed officially and reported that there should be a software fix to solve this WiFi connection problems.

The software fix is not available yet in the meantime, but if you really need to solve this problems right away, you can try to increase the screen brightness of your iPad to gain better WiFi signal reception. I know that the idea might be a little out of logics, but many people do it and it works. I hope this temporary fix can solve your iPad problems.

UK residents might still waiting the coming of iPad to UK. But the rumors about iPad 2 specification leak is already buzzing all over the web. One of the rumor that spread about iPad version 2.0 is that this next generation Apple tablet PC will have an OLED screen.

Some even said that Apple second generation iPad will use the design concept implemented in iPhone 4G, and if it’s realized, it seems like Apple is expecting their cost for OLED panels can be minimized by the times the plan to produce iPad 2.0.

If this “OLED Screen” rumors made you questioning about iPad 2.0 price prediction, this comparison might give you some vision. The iPad that exist now used a 9.7inch LCD panel and cost around $60-$70, and if they switch into the OLED panel technology, the additional cost might rise into $500 for the panels.
