iPad 2.0 Rumors Regarding OLED Screen

UK residents might still waiting the coming of iPad to UK. But the rumors about iPad 2 specification leak is already buzzing all over the web. One of the rumor that spread about iPad version 2.0 is that this next generation Apple tablet PC will have an OLED screen.

Some even said that Apple second generation iPad will use the design concept implemented in iPhone 4G, and if it’s realized, it seems like Apple is expecting their cost for OLED panels can be minimized by the times the plan to produce iPad 2.0.

If this “OLED Screen” rumors made you questioning about iPad 2.0 price prediction, this comparison might give you some vision. The iPad that exist now used a 9.7inch LCD panel and cost around $60-$70, and if they switch into the OLED panel technology, the additional cost might rise into $500 for the panels. The price comparison now seems scary don’t you think? :D
