Samsung Pentile 2560×1600 resolution 10 inch LCDs

This 2560 x 1600 resolution Samsung display will have 300 pixels per inch density, a number that match Retina qualification as Steve Jobs stated last year.
This new Samsung display utilizes RGBW Pentile technology, and expected to be available in the market later this year. Dr. Sungtae Shin, a Senior VP from Samsung Electronics stated that this Samsung Pentile technology operates only need 60 percent power compared to the Full HD-view RGB LCD, but have a doubled performance. It can be said that no other display technology available at the market right now that can offer the same performance in terms and resolution and pixel density in 10.1 inch other than this new Samsung display.
Having this announced, a speculation rises whether Apple will implement this new 2560 x 1600 Samsung LCD in the next generation of iPad. This speculation is streghtened because iPad 3 are expected to doubled their screen resolution to 2048 x 1536, and this numbers are already exceeded by this new 10.1 inch Samsung Pentile display.
